Who we are
The Vivi naTUra team is passionate about promoting ways to connect and live with our natural world, that we are all part of. Along with our passion, we bring a wide range of skills and experience to our sessions and activities.
Sara NobiliFounder
Hi, I'm Sara. I founded Vivi naTUra after returning home to Italy having spent 30 years living and working abroad, mainly in EngIand. I'm on a mission to share my passion and love for nature and help people to reconnect with the magic and wonder of our natural world. I hold a degree in English Language and Linguistics and an MA in Language Studies from Lancaster University. I am also a qualified and accredited Forest School Lead Practitioner Level 3 and an accredited Forest Bathing Expert. I am an experienced trainer with substantial experience of working in a wide range of contexts and with many different people, such as schools, parent and toddlers groups, community organisations and statutory bodies such as local councils and the police.

Hi! I'm David, Vivi naTUra's bushcraft and wood carving instructor. I have practiced bushcraft for many years in the UK, including in the highlands of Scotland. I'm also passionate about environmental sustainability, having worked as an ambassador for the UK's largest wildlife conservation charity, and most recently, establishing a charity focussed on reducing waste within the UK's food system.

What we do
We offer nature-based experiences and courses for all people of all ages. We have staff trained and accredited in Forest School Level 3 with teaching qualifications and years of experience in educational and community settings. We are driven by a desire to share our passion for all that is natural and found in the wild. Our workshops and courses are run predominantly in our woodland but we can also come to work with you in your own setting. We run many different activities, depending on your needs and wants. Here are some examples of our most recent work: whittling in the woods workshops, bilingual nature connection summer camps, women only meet ups in the woods, bushcraft workshops, outdoor nature inspired toddlers and parents groups and much more!
How we work
Confidence - Collaboration - Empathy - Fun - Self esteem - Resilience
Our sessions and courses take place in the outdoors. We have created a lovely and welcoming space in our own woodland where we hope people of all ages can feel relaxed, safe and in tune with nature. At the centre of our practice is the wellbeing of every participant, and we put great care and emphasis in ensuring people feel supported in every step of their journey with us. We do this by applying principles of Forest School and experiential and participatory learning developed through our many years of practice in this sector.
Woven throughout all our sessions is the constant thread of Leave No Trace, which asks us to consider the short and long term impacts of our activities on the wildlife and habitats that we love, looking at ways we can reduce our footprint and tread more lightly on the land.
All of our activities are rigorously risk assessed. We also have public liability insurance.
